I am the speech-language pathologist at Twin Creeks School, an elementary school serving grades K-5. One of my favorite places to be on campus is the intensive special day classroom. The students in this room are in grades 1-5 and all have different intensive needs, in that they need a high level of support for tasks such as feeding, learning, toileting, behavior, etc. Though each child is different, they also have a lot in common! They all learn best by engaging all their senses and they all need practice being a part of the community.
