  • Printing Will Make Our Pre-k Classroom a Success!

    Funded Sep 7, 2022

Thank you so much for helping me fund my project for a new printer, ink, and paper for my classroom. The printer is being used to print out labels and visuals for my English language learners. It is also important in my classroom to print visuals for my special Ed students. The printer is helping my students learn where materials go in my classroom and learn new vocabulary by printing out labels for my classroom.

My students get excited every time we use the printer to print labels and visuals for them. They even help load the paper in the printer and help take out the pages when they are finished printing. They also help put the printed labels around the classroom. They are actively engaged with our new printer!

The students who have warmed up to this new printer are especially my special Ed students. They love that their learning has improved ever since receiving this new technology in our classroom. Thank you so much for making my classroom more successful with these new materials.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sale

  • Fun Math Games for My Pre-K Mathematicians

    Funded Dec 15, 2018

Thank you so much for the wonderful donations for my math supplies. My students love playing with these games and materials. These supplies helped my students with counting, matching number to quantity, and simple addition. During the transportation unit, my students enjoyed counting the airplane counters to match the numeral.

My students were so excited when I first introduced the materials. They get so happy whenever I introduce new supplies, especially ones they are interested in. My students loved the counting cars game where they had to put the correct amount of passengers in the car to match the numeral. My students were playing and learning math at the same time.

My students love learning new concepts in math. They are right now learning simple addition and subtraction with objects. I used the materials to introduce addition with them. I will continue using those materials and maybe make a new project to enhance their learning even more. Thank you so much.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sale

  • 1,2,3 Please Help My Students and Me!

    Funded Oct 1, 2017

Thank you so much for all of your support in helping donate to my classroom. My students love all of their new resources and enjoy playing with them everyday. My students love making shapes using geo-sticks and also playing shape bingo and the matching shapes game. My students are currently learning about where they live and made their home using the geo-sticks and were able to tell me what shapes they used to make their home.

When I first showed my students all the new supplies, they jumped with joy and were so excited to play with them. Their smiles on their faces bring so much joy to me when I show them the new resources. These new materials are amazing because they are learning and playing at the same time and every student is engaged.

The next unit my students will be learning about is transportation. I plan on allowing students to build their favorite type of transportation using geo-sticks and play-sticks. Students can also learn about how many wheels each transportation has and find that number with the number puzzle material that was donated. These materials will be used all year since my students love playing with them and learn a lot with them.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sale

My students need these math manipulatives ,such as, Penguins on Ice, number bean bags, and Playstix to help them learn math in a fun and engaging way. My students get very excited when a new math manipulative is introduced to them. These math manipulatives and games will help my students learn math in a fun way in my classroom. Not only are they playing, but they are also learning as well. These materials will help make a difference because they will learn math through play. These materials will help them learn counting, shapes, colors, sorting, patterns, etc. These math concepts are what my students need to learn in preschool, which is why these materials will help them so much.
