Thank you for your donations. I truly appreciate it and I know my students will as well. Thank you for helping us have an amazing start to the school year and providing materials that students will need throughout the year. Words cannot express the gratitude that I have. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V.

  • Creative SEL Outlooks

    Funded May 11, 2022

Thank you so much for your donation. The new books have been an amazing addition to the classroom. The students especially enjoyed the Dogman books as those were the ones frequently requested. The students would read the books throughout the day to develop their independent reading skills. As part of our school and classroom routine, the students would practice the skills taught in small groups such as understanding cause and effect, analyzing characters, providing a summary with their independent reading books. Getting these new books that the students find interesting has tremendously impacted their love for reading.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V.

  • Representation Matters

    Funded Jan 7, 2022

The books have heavily contributed to my classroom. My students are enjoying all the books that they are reading and they are able to explore their culture as well as learn about a new culture. By reading some of the books, the students were able to make book-to-book connections as well as connecting events from the books to current events in the media. The books added immense value into the classroom. The students are truly experiencing a new joy of reading and this couldn't have been possible without your donations. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, there are not enough words to express my gratitude.”

The materials have been amazing addition to the classroom. The notebook that were donated are the students homework notebook as well as notebook for the subjects that they needed a notebook. The whiteboards have made it an easy quick way to check students' understanding. The binder rings made it easy for the students to have their multiplication facts and sight words accessible to them.

The students were ecstatic to see all the materials that were donated to them. They were happy to see the materials and couldn't wait to use them all, especially since the materials arrived before the first day of school.”

  • Remote Resources

    Funded Nov 23, 2020

Thank you so much for your donations. Due to the Teachers pay Teachers gift card, I was able to find materials that my students could use and help them expanded their knowledge. I also was able to find a bunch of different resources to keep the students engage and have them find different modes to express their learning. This kept the class fun and lively, but more importantly allowed all students to have access to the material being taught.

Thank you again for your donations and allowing me to find different ways to teach my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V.

  • iPad for Remote Learning

    Funded Nov 23, 2020

My students and I are filled with gratitude. The iPad has really made a difference in remote learning. I am able to demonstrate math problems, I am able to share on one screen and monitor on another, and I am able to show students' thinking with the iPad.

The iPad has also came in handy in the classroom. The students use it constantly to go on iReady, which is an academic program that my school uses. We have also used the iPad to introduce different STEAM lessons like coding. The students have also used the iPad to check their Google Classroom assignments and give out ClassDojo points.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V.

  • Enriching Environment

    Funded Sep 4, 2020

These materials have been transformative in my classroom. The students were beyond excited to receive the donations. I explained to them the importance of the easel and the anchor chart paper to help with instructions. I also informed them about all the markers we received; they know each have their own set of markers in the classroom and do not share materials due to COVID restrictions and trying to keep everyone safe.

The anchor chart paper have been a great resource to have in the classroom. I use the anchor chart in the beginning of the year to state the classroom expectations and the classroom contract that we created together. As the school year developed, I use the anchor chart to show information and materials that we used in the classroom.

The easel has been extremely beneficial for both remote learning and in person learning. I use the easel to model math problems and short responses of reading. It is also great to provide sentence starters for small group and 1-to-1 instruction.

Having these materials at the beginning of the school year was also quite beneficial because they were incorporated in the classroom culture and the classroom routines.

Thank you again for all the resources that truly made for an easy start for the school year.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V.

Thank you so much!!! This project was to help me add diversity into our classroom library. Throughout the year, the students loved to read these books and was able to identify with the characters. The books you've helped to provide has brought my students so much joy and fun. I will have these books in my classroom library for years to come and I know that my future students will enjoy these books just as much as my current students did. We are truly grateful for the continuous love and support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V.

In 2017, we use technology for almost everything. You can talk to anyone in the world at the tips of your fingers, unlock information from across the globe in just mere seconds - however some students do not have this opportunity. We need five iPads with cases and a projector for technology in the classroom to enhance their success in a modern classroom. With the use of a projector, my students will be able to see and listen to thousands of resources. With iPads, the students can independently work on projects and research things that spark their interest. iPads also allow for different structured learning inside the classroom. Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future. it also provides the students with a sense of independence so that they do not feel that they have been spoon fed the information. Not of my students do not have access to the internet or technology - so this may be their only exposure.
