A color printer will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy. We write a lot and share our work with each other, our school leaders and parents. Writing is a celebration of their thoughts and ideas. As part of our performance tasks throughout the school year, the students are expected to create pieces of writing that need to be published and presented. Having access to a printer will make everyone's work stand out! My students don't often have the confidence in their writing abilities. In my class, I strive to empower students and showing them how amazing their finished products can look is a huge part of how much better they will do. My students take pride in their work and in turn, it continues to motivate them to become proficient writers!
