  • Inspiring Young Readers With the Gift of a Book!

    Funded Dec 2, 2024

My students are so happy! They each get to keep their own chapter book from our favorite series. Students love the "I Survived" series and their love of reading is growing by gifting them each their own book to keep.

The excitement on their faces was priceless. Now each child can add this new book to their personal library, if they have one, or start their own personal library, if this is the first book they own.

The message I hope to instill in my students is that reading is important and cherished. Thank you for making this dream come true!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ward

  • Students Need More Paper and Pencil Tasks!

    Funded May 16, 2023

Thank you so very much for your generous donation. Giving students the ability to practice their writing and develop their writing skills is priceless. Electronic devices are fantastic in the classroom, but students also need to be challenged and engaged with paper and pencil tasks.

Your donation enables students to learn grade level standards and curriculum in a fun, interactive manner that uses their brain and small motor skills to help them develop into lifelong writers. Fluency is a key component to academic success, thank you for helping my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ward

  • Life Long Readers Are Life Long Learners!

    Funded May 9, 2023

My students are really invested in the "I Survived..." series of books. They are loving the historically accurate facts that read like fiction. They can't get enough!

I am beyond thankful that every one of students can read their own book without having to share. Now students can do character studies, in depth analysis and readers theatre.

Thank you for giving the love of reading to my students. Reading is the main factor for student success in all curriculum areas. Literacy is so important and when students love what they are reading literacy comes naturally, so thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ward

  • Got Ink?

    Funded Dec 17, 2022

This gift of printer ink will allow students to create AND take home their electronic assignments. Therefor allowing families to appreciate and give feedback on their students assignments. When students share their work with their caregivers they are reinforcing the material, as well as showing pride in a job well done.

Our school only allows each class one set of ink cartridges per academic year, which typically run out at the beginning of the year. Your generous donation will last the entire year, benefitting the entire class.”

  • Snack Pack

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity. My students can now continue learning during the school day, because their hunger has been satisfied. It is hard to learn when you're hungry, and you have solved that problem for 26 eight year olds!

Third grade students should not have to worry about hunger. Although our school has free lunch and breakfast, snacks are not included, and kids get hungry during the day! No child should go hungry, and thanks to your generous donations my kids will have snacks for the entire year!”

  • Monitoring Technology!

    Funded Oct 11, 2022

The ability to use technology to monitor student time on task is a game changer. The extra iPad enables any adult in the classroom to interact with students and improve their time on task. It also encourages appropriate computer use from the students, since they know they're being monitored.

When teaching a small group, adults can easily see the students computer screens, as well as their open tabs, and viewer history. Adults can also close down apps from the iPad, without disrupting small group learning.

Keeping students safe while using differentiated computer programs is of utmost importance and you have greatly improved our students safety with your generous donation!”

  • Our Students Need Technology

    Funded May 4, 2022

Enabling educators to view student screens for safety, instructional purposes, and to help structure educational groups is a game changer. Student monitoring on computers was such a major issue in years past. The ability to use this iPad to monitor what each and every student is working on simultaneously makes using technology in the classroom so much more effective.

Students are held accountable. This encourages more time on task and adds rigor to online differentiated programs. Young children benefit from individual attention and the use of the extra iPad allows the professionals within the classroom to directly guide student learning, increasing productivity.

I am so very appreciative for your generous donation. Thank you!”

  • Remote Learning Made Easy!

    Funded Dec 3, 2020

Technology is a part of students' daily learning. The new iPad will enable students to see lessons in real time. It makes transferring information easier. It will also enable the instructor to watch students during video conference sessions while also sharing my screen with them in order to teach a lesson. Watching students while they are learning gives educators great insight into the mastery of any particular objective.

The use of an additional device enables students to be engaged in lessons, therefore more successful. More visual contact during lessons lets us connect as a classroom family.

Thank you so very much for your generous donation.”

Rugs are a necessity for whole group instruction. They create a safe, organized environment for learning. They help students feel comfortable interacting with their peers. Peer conversations are the basis of learning language skills and interacting with others. A classroom rug will build a community of learners and an engaging learning environment. It will help the classroom appear cozy and inviting. A warm environment will help my kids do their best work. Moving into a 21st century learning environment will be easier with the addition of a comfortable, colorful rug. Students often want to work on the floor, but it is hard and uncomfortable. I would like to give them flexible seating options.
