We have a diverse school with many of our students living below the poverty line. Myself, and the rest of the coaching staff, are trying to create a fun, positive, and rewarding experience for a large group of students. Our school currently does not have a pole vault pit, or the necessary equipment to compete in this event. We will never be competitive unless we can compete in this event.
We need poles so our athletes can travel to other schools to work on their technique at a facility that has the required equipment. We have several athletes who could use this pole to compete, and even do well at our State Championships.
