  • Let's Get WRITE to It

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations! We are loving our new dry erase boards! My room is very small, and these little boards make learning so much easier when space is at a premium. My students are below grade level, and every minute is important when it comes to spending time in my small groups. Instead of waiting on papers to make copies, or digging out pencils and paper, we can get started immediately with our dry erase boards. Again, thank you so much for your support! My students and I appreciate it!”

  • Let's Make Some Gains

    Funded Aug 10, 2023

Thank you so much for helping purchase books for our Intervention Library. My students are two years behind grade level, and come and spend time with me every day to make gains in their reading.

Over the years I have curated a library that is rich in environmental print, excellent storylines, and enriching vocabulary. This is ideal for a classroom that mainly does read-alouds. This will work for my new position. However, I was in need of some books for my new students to read. Books that are on their grade level.

We also purchased some wobble seats, my students need to move while they are reading, and these are perfect!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hoffer

  • What's in a Name?

    Funded Jan 1, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations! We are LOVING our new name tubs! One of the most important things a child will learn is how to write his or her name. One of our biggest standards in PreK3 is learning how to spell and write our names. We love all of the different ways that we can write and spell our name. Thank you for your continued support of our students! We know that you can spend your money anywhere else, and we appreciate that you choose to support our Public Schools and the Wee Littles!”

  • Fine Motor Play

    Funded Nov 5, 2022

Thank you so much for allowing the teachers of Oklahoma to apply for the CLASS 2.0 Grant. We are so appreciative that the State Department of Education was able to provide us with some much needed resources for our classrooms. We got some new fine motor activities, some new dramatic play sets, and center activities. By providing our students with dramatic play we are helping them with a hands-on way to learn through play and are giving them an outlet to better develop their social skills. We appreciate you!”

We love having hands on learning! When the sensory bin is out, our students fight over who gets to go to it first! THank you so much for supporting our littlest learners, we appreciate you!”

In years past I have witnessed my students love for light. I have had overhead projectors that my students love working on. However, the overhead light is too bright for my students to work with frequently. Adding a real light table to my classroom will allow my students to get hands on with early math skills, and will also allow my kiddos to work their fine motor skills. Both of which, in Pre-K are starting to develop. A light table will enhance their introduction to early skills that will be built upon through out their elementary career. With a light table, they will be able to explore with manipulatives, work on patterning, sorting, sequencing and one to one correspondence. They will also be able to play with light and colors. The excitement that this will bring to our room will bring interest to early skills.
