My classroom has limited wall space for white boards. The students need to be able to see things written down in order to process and understand new academic concepts. When teaching a small group of students how to read and decode words, write a sentence or a paragraph, or solving math equations my students will learn more if they can see it. As a teacher this is an essential tool that will allow me to provided visual instruction. In addition, students will be able to contribute to their learning and other students learning by showing how they solved the problem on the white board or how they broke a word down into syllables to decode and read a new word with success. By donating to our project you will help to increase student learning and you will be helping to close the achievement gap for students with learning disabilities. My hope is to improve the quality of instruction in our classroom by providing students with visual learning opportunities that will increase student growth and success.
