  • Where Art Meets Science: STEM + Art Tools

    Funded Jan 7, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our project. The students were excited for the snacks and treats that they could earn. It gave them an extra push and motivation to earn points and participate.

With the STEM supplies students were able to use their imagination to create different projects or complete different tasks. It allowed them to have a hands on approach to show their creativity and thinking rather than completing a written assignment. They always get excited when they have a challenge and have to create something to solve the challenge.

With the supplies we will continue to create opportunities and do projects to help boost their creativity and to encourage them to think outside the box.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Nitahara-Moses

  • Building Creativity

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

Thank you so much for the generous donation to our class. With all these supplies that were given the students were able to really show and express their learning in different ways.

With all the supplies the students were excited to use the new materials in creating various projects. They loved being able to create something using the material and it was awesome to see their creativity come to life. Especially being able to see how they transformed some of the material given to create different things.

Thank you so much again without your donations none of this would be possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Nitahara-Moses

  • Boosting Engagement

    Funded Oct 15, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation. The students were so excited to receive all the new supplies. They were especially excited to see all the snacks that they could earn. Participation and engagement were boosted by having the extra incentives.

They especially enjoyed doing the different activities for the holidays with the Turkey and Winter crafts being able to choose what they felt represented them made it even more unique and special. The students were excited to hang it up in the room and take it home when the season was over.

All this wouldn't have been possible without donors like you. Thank you very much again.”

    With gratitude,

  • Calming Zone

    Funded May 30, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our project. With our first week kicking off the calming corner and incentives have really been helpful. Students also got a chance to write in their journals and they loved it. I think having the fun special pencils for the journal also made it more exciting for them.

I will continue to use the journals and all the other items in the calming corner to help students throughout the the year. I feel like it really helped them to get adjusted to the new year and all the different changes.

Thank you so much again for supporting our classroom.”

  • Poppin Incentives

    Funded Feb 17, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our project. The students were so excited for the incentives, more so because they helped choose them.

The incentives fueled their participation and helped provide more options for my students to use their school wide points system in our class store. Throughout the school day students are able to earn points and then cash them in to buy snacks and they are also able to earn the smaller snacks during the lesson.

The students will continue to be able to earn snacks through their points and also for participation, and staying on task.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Nitahara-Moses

  • Creativity at Work

    Funded Nov 18, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations that brought this project to life. My student were very excited when they heard that the project got funded.

They especially love playing with the indoor games not only during recess, but when they have free time. It's nice to see them play together and interact with one another outside of academics and use strategies to help them win the game. With the arts and crafts supplies students were able to create their own holiday wreaths and let their creativity shine. We used them as classroom decorations during the holiday season.

Thank you so much again for supporting my classroom and students.”

  • Expanding Our Horizons

    Funded Oct 7, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to our project. We are deep into the book study and students on their free time want to read this story.

With this book it is allowing students to be exposed to a different type of genre that they might not have chosen for themselves. This book is also relating to some of them having moved from different schools and understanding the concept of trying to fit in even if they haven't moved from schools to schools.

While reading this book students are also asked comprehension questions and are reflecting on their reading with every chapter, which allows them to dig deeper into the meaning behind the book.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Nitahara-Moses
