Fueling the student's interest in Science will now be magnified to a 55-inch television! The vision is to give students the ability to sit anywhere in the classroom and be able to learn from the presentations of a student and teacher via different big screens. At the moment, students currently see the teacher's presentations on one screen. With the purchase of these two brand new 55-inch televisions, the students will be able to view the teacher's presentations on three different locations, the front of the room, and the two sides of the classroom. This is especially helpful if a student is sitting in the back of the room, and has a hard time seeing the front of the room. Students practice presenting in front of groups. By having 2 additional TVs, students will now be able to present to smaller groups of 11. This helps in having a more intimate relationship between presenter and audience. Plus, presenters and audience will now have an enhanced image of the information at hand, as opposed to looking at a small Chromebook screen. Lastly, I will incorporate the new screens so that I can have 3 separate differentiated stations....which means I can display one set of instructions per television, on three different screens, save paper, and still manage to reach the high, medium, and low students in a lesson. This is the feeling I would like to create in my classroom.
