The items in my wish list will greatly help my scholars throughout the year. The books and book bins will be a great edition to my classroom library. The books on the list are designed for beginning readers to be able to decode. The math manipulatives that I have chosen will really come in play with adding and subtracting. In order to conceptually understand addition and subtraction the scholars need to be able to use such items to help grow their math skills. The privacy folders will help with assessments since the scholars sit together on tables it is often a challenge for them to keep their eyes from wandering. The timer will help scholars know how to time manage during centers and rotations. The construction paper will be used by my scholars to make a variety of learning crafts. The wall pads will be used for anchor charts in which I will be creating with the students during whole group and small group lessons. The filing supplies will be used in a variety of ways, the main idea for those is so that each student has a spot to place any unfinished work. The students will be able to have a spot where they can store their unfinished work and independently work on it when they have spare time. Lastly, the Legos and sensory items are going to be used by my scholars who need a calming corner if they are overly stimulated. They will also be used for scholars who need brain breaks throughout the day. I want to provide my scholars with what they need to be successful in my classroom. All of the supplies listed will greatly help my scholars succeed in their learning experience.
