My students are often able to focus better when we sit together on the floor. They also benefit from varied seating arrangements for different learning activities, such as sitting in a circle or sitting with partners to share ideas. Our classroom is strongly in need of a rug to create a community space for learning. It would allow for in-depth teaching and learning to happen every day. This rug will not only benefit students who are in my class this year, but will continue to have lasting impact in the years to come. Please support me in creating a successful learning community.
