These materials will be used daily in our classroom, especially during our geometry units. I teach both 7th and 8th graders who spend almost half the year working with graphs and coordinate planes. Unfortunately, we currently spend valuable class time hand drawing coordinate planes to help with these units. I have found a solution and just need help getting it into my classroom! These graphing whiteboards will give students the ability to personally graph specific points, shapes, and equations. It will give all students the opportunity to learn hands-on instead of just a few per period. The large graph will be placed at the front of class to help when I model what the students are supposed to do. These personal whiteboards will give students the opportunity to discover geometry, graphs, and functions for themselves. It will allow my students to get excited about the math they are learning. All students will be able to feel successful when using these boards.
