Many students lack basic operation skills, and have accommodations for calculator use. However, they do not have a means in order to obtain a calculator to make them successful not only in the classroom, but outside as well. These students are learning the correct concepts of mathematics, but lack the materials needed to be successful. Allowing for these students to not worry about every calculation, will allow this great group of individuals to grasp mathematical concepts instead of focusing on basic math skills that should have been obtained at a lower level. They are in need of a calculator, so they can calculate to success!
