My students desperately need math manipulatives like place value blocks and Rekenrek sets that will help them not only learn math, but enjoy it. I believe that once these supplies are in our classroom, my students will renew their desire to learn and they will see that math can be learned and loved. These supplies will open a new way to explore math, one that is hands-on and practical. Math will make sense to them and they will be the mathematicians they were born to be. Adding and subtracting will be made easy. Please help my students have this experience. Help them fall in love with math.
