Funded Nov 1, 2017Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Donors Choose Project! We have been learning about animal classifications and adaptations. This week we are beginning our unit on living and non-living things.
The students were so excited when we received our science folders, books, and games to help enrich our first-grade science units. We didn't have a lot of science resources available, so this has been a great addition to our classroom.
Of all the things we learn in class. The students get so excited when science is on the schedule. Because we have so much more than we had before, we have been doing our science lessons more frequently than in the past. We just finished studying animal classification and adaptations which included doing an animal report and project. The kids' projects turned out fantastic. They were so excited to share their hard work! This week we will be exploring characteristics of living and non-living things. Our new science materials include lots of activities to enrich this unit.
Thank you again for contributing to our project. You are helping to spark the curiosity and imaginations of my awesome first grade students.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Ware
