The group I have this year is the most driven class I've had in 10 years of teaching. We start each day off practicing our vocabulary knowledge playing the online, timed trivia game as seen in my classroom picture. The students share 4 computers and play along on white boards, from their seats. I am able to create questions from our weekly stories as well, so we also play a game after we finish reading a new story. The kids LOVE playing these games and they give me a snapshot of how well the class is understanding. By having a class set of tablets, I would be able to save results and break data down by student. The students would get a lot more practice on their online programs, most of which do not have access to at home.
