Students need to move each day! Sitting in a chair all day, without the opportunity to move, affects the ability for a child to focus. When a child is given the opportunity to choose a seat that allows them to wiggle or move, they are able to stay on task, complete their work more efficiently, and expend energy. I recently added a few flexible seating options in my class and the students were so excited! The favorite seat by far is the Wobble Stool. This stool enables the student to move from side to side and front to back so they get the movement they need to stay focused. I need more of these stools as they are a great alternative to the traditional chair for the student who has a hard time sitting still. I have seen a marked improvement in the students that are are currently using them. They have been able to complete their work and I have seen an increase in student stamina and work completion! I just need your help to purchase more wobble stools so that more of my students will be able to use them. This will not only help my students this year, but also my future students.
