Students will be able to access digital activities of the alternate curriculum being taught, opportunities to create video projects, watch videos on a preferred topic, and as a reinforcement when students have completed their work, which in turn helps motivate students to continue working to earn more time on the iPad. The curriculum we are using this year is called News2You. It is an amazing program which takes current events in the news and makes is accessible for my students by telling the stories by using pictures and words that they can understand. This program also includes interactive learning activities that students will be able to do on the iPads as well as weekly recipes we can look up to do a cooking lesson related to the weeks topic.
