Leveling Up Literacy: A Library for All Reading Levels
Funded Dec 3, 2024Exciting Updates from Our Classroom!
Thanks to your generosity, my students now have access to new books in our classroom library—and their excitement was absolutely priceless! When they first saw the materials, they jumped up and down, screaming with joy. It was a truly heartwarming moment to witness their love for learning grow even stronger.
Now, my students have taken ownership of their learning by setting up a schedule to share the new materials, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to explore books that meet them at their level. These resources are already making a huge impact, sparking curiosity and deeper engagement in our reading activities.
Your support has helped create a classroom full of eager readers, and I can't thank you enough for making this possible! Stay tuned for more updates on how these new materials continue to inspire and challenge my students.”

Funded Apr 25, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donations. The students love all of their new materials. Most of all they love using their new headphones when completing online learning tasks.
Math has become an absolute pleasure with the new dry erase materials. Students are able to now have a real dry erase board and eraser to use. Before we used sheet protectors and copy paper. I can't tell you how many "boards" needed to be replaced throughout the year. Now no boards have to be replaced because they have the sturdy materials they need to be successful. We even started using the dry erase boards during our phonics lessons.
It is nice to have materials that the students can use time after time without complaining about needing a replacement or that they misplaced it.”

Empowering Readers Everywhere!
Funded Jan 1, 2024This project's materials have greatly improved my students' love of reading. They get to build avatars because they earn points as they read books. They also get to read aloud to test their fluency rate. It's so wonderful to see them enjoying the website and all of its features.
Also, the bags have helped keep their learning materials organized. They can keep their notebooks and headphones as well as any other materials inside them.
I am overwhelmed with how much joy these materials have brought my students.”

Funded Jul 16, 2020As grateful as I was for this donation unfortunately due to the pandemic impacting our lives I was unable to provide letters or pictures. Please know the students appreciated everything you gave them. They loved the writing tools, notebooks and sharpeners, as we were all trying to work through our new normal. They struggled a bit to not understand they had to have their own because naturally kids and want to share everything but we all came to enjoy everything you donated. Thank you so much for donating.”

Funded Feb 17, 2020I want to thank you for your help in enhancing my classroom library. Before we were quarantined I couldn't keep these books on the shelves. I even think that some are still home in quarantine with my students. They absolutely had a pull towards graphic novels.
My students actually created a list of who would borrow which book when. I barely got them out of the box and labeled in our classroom before they were calling dibs on them.
I cannot wait to figure out a way for my upcoming students to enjoy these books. I am working on a disinfecting plan now.”

Funded Dec 19, 2018As you can see from the photos my students are absolutely loving the new LEGO sets. They love creating and recreating new items from these new pieces. They were so excited to see the robotics portion of these new sets as our old sets had the pieces but were unable to function properly.
My students are already peeking into new LEGO sets for me to try and have donated to our classroom. They get very excited to create their own projects such as flying jets and robots that one student has named "jimmy". Every week "Jimmy" acquires a new vehicle or home via these great sets. Just this last week "Jimmy" moved on his own!
So thank you for letting my students be excited to come to my classroom every Friday to let go and play Legos with their friends.”
