Gardening Goals
Funded Nov 27, 2023The students were so excited to get the materials. The smiles were from ear to ear. They were eager to put on gloves and grab pads to go outside and put them to use. Over the weeks they have been putting in hard work in our garden areas. They gave me tons of praise and thanks. I explained that this is from people whom believe in your great futures ahead.
The progress of work outside has transferred into more effort and enthusiasm inside the classroom during lessons. Also other students have been able to go outside and look, and touch some of the things that are growing. So, it is a project not just for our club, but for the community of students. We thank you all so much!
We will continue to work and should be seeing greater results after the cold weather has completely passed.”

Mr. McBride
Building Futures Through Organization and Independence
Funded Sep 16, 2018My students and I would love to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the generosity and thoughtfulness. We have been working hard to improve and make everyone proud. Upon receiving the materials the children were so excited because its not often we receive nice things. We have used our folders to organize our weekly activities and assignments. Having a place where they can pick up assignments and extra credit work, gives them a great since of independence. I have discussed with them that they are our future, and being independent and organized is something that will help them moving forward. The materials received will not just help these students but will help every student that follows behind going through this 4th Grade teacher on the path of success.”
With gratitude,
Mr. McBride

Funded Jan 25, 2018My students were so ecstatic when they seen me unboxing and placing batteries in the new resources that you all provided for us. The students had so many questions about where everything came from. I thought I was excited when my first project was funded. My student and I were truly overwhelmed with joy. There were so many hands going up willing to help the teacher organize the new resources for us to use.
One of the first projects that the students and I tackled with our new write and wipe packets were our time tables. I stressed to them that this was a major weakness that as a class we needed to improve on. We turned it into a contest on who could answer the most questions within 3 minutes. This saved us cases of paper in just a months time. This became a regular daily routine that the students were eager to attack everyday. I started to see grades improve and less mistakes when it came down to computation on higher level problems.
Also I have several students in my class that have challenges and cannot always work on the same level as their classmates. The power pens allow students to work on the level between 2nd to 5th Grade. It also has less difficult problems that even my students with learning disabilities or reading problems can solve. So everyone in the classroom can have a sense of pride that they can be independent and successful. Thank you so much for making a difference in our world.”

Mr. McBride
