"Sitting still is overrated. It makes sense for the opera but in most classrooms and child care centers, it's given far more honor than it deserves. Children need to move." --Tom Hunter Some students have more energy than others. For those students, it would be great if they had access to a standing desk to use in our classroom. This would give them the ability to stand, work and get their energy out without disrupting others. The wobble disks will be used in lieu of the sitting in a hard chair. The stools allow flexibility for my learners because they can move around easily to work in small groups. Our classroom is a 21st century learning environment that encourages collaboration and self-directed learning. It is a flexible, comfortable, and student-centered space where students are in charge of their own learning! With that being said, we want to use our microphones with our green screen to create our very own videos. Two microphones allow us to work twice as hard. Your donation will help us add needed seating to our student-centered learning environment where students have the freedom to stay active, move and learn. Thank you in advance for supporting our 21st century classroom community!
