Literacy Success at CCMS

Thank you so much for funding my project, "Literacy Success at CCMS". We have just finished our state mandated ELA/Reading tests and the results show that the headphones

that were purchased made a big impact.

All of my students are required to complete weekly lessons on a computerized reading program. We are a VILS school which means every student has access to an IPAD. However, not every student has air buds, air pods, or headphones. In addition to this reading program, most of their assessments and lessons have become digital so the increase in technology use has meant they need up to date headphones. This enables the students to work independently or in small groups without bothering other students.

Almost half of my students became proficient at reading this year and most of them said the quality of my headphones is way above the basic plastic ones they receive in other classes. One student told me the sound is better, they are more comfortable to wear and the over all quality is better. Now they don't want to take them off!!
