• Rewards For Hard Work!

  Thank you for your generous donation. Although our school does provide us with all our basic needs, it is amazing to have all these extra activities for kids to have as rewards. The children become extremely motivated when they see these incentives and they progress even more.

• New Printer... but We Need Ink!

  Thank you so much for our paper and our ink. Although our school does provide us with all the basic needs, it is always so nice to be able to have our own extra supplies and be able to do things on our own time and at our own pace. By you providing us with the ink and paper, we are able to go the extra mile and complete those extra assignments and projects that we enjoy doing outside our curriculum.

• New Materials for Our New Class!

  Thank you for your generous gift. The students are having a great time with their new toys and entertainment. They are excited everyday when its time to work with the new toys. Although these are special needs students, you can see their extreme excitment when they saw their new donations. It is something they do not usually recieve as most of the students in this class are of low income and parents that do not have time to play with the kids. With your donation, these children are learning about science and having a great time as they learn.”

• Lets Draw Nature!

  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous donation! As previously stated, the children in this class have all been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and have a hard time trying new things. However, children were very excited to paint with their water colors. They had never used water colors before and it was great to see them experience new things that we know will not hurt them in any way. They learned about colors and mixing colors as they worked and tried drawing various animals. They not only used the paintbrushes but also had fun trying to use their fingers to finger paint. After they were finished painting they were able to use wipes to clean up their hands and their areas.”

• Lets Learn to Draw Without the Mess!

  Words can not describe the faces of pure joy and excitement when my special education students saw the many amazon boxes arrive. They came running to see what was in every box and to see what they could play with. For the last four days they have been completing their morning writing assignments on their doodle boards and really enjoy it. They also love the dot markers and just adore art time with that. In the next few days we will be drawing on the water mat and I can just imagine how overwhelmed with joy they will be.

• iLearn with Technology

  Thank you so much for your generous contribution. No one will ever know how appreciative I am for helping our students. Our students are so excited everyday to be able to use the chrome books and I have noticed how much having access to this technology has increased their learning. Many of the students have also benefited from the headphones, because many of their parents can not afford to purchase headphones. Also, the foot covers for the chairs have made the class a lot quieter, allowing the students to be able to focus more while learning.

  They will never forget the generous gift they received in kindergarten.”
