• The Gathering Spot

  My kids and I were so excited to get our rug project funded! We absolutely love it! Now we have a central place to meet in front of our smart board for our math and reading lessons! It is so easy to call on one of my students to come up to the smart board. Now they can all see perfectly. We also use the rug to meet while I read books to them! Each day we meet at our rug for "circle time", to start off our math lesson. It's the perfect size for my whole class! It's amazing what a difference it makes in our classroom appearance. It's so roomy now! Thanks again for making such a difference in our classroom. We appreciate it so much!”

• Charging in Second Grade

  Thank you so much for donating to my project. The iPad chargers work great for our iPads. The kids and I are so happy we can charge all of them at once. As soon as they are finished using their iPad, they are able to just walk over and charge them right away. Before that we had to charge a few at a time, so it took quite a while! They fit perfectly on my table and are so organized now. They look great and are so easy to charge now!! We appreciate you all so much!! Your kindness is very appreciated!!”

• Money Counts

  Thank you so much for donating to my class project. My students are loving the money kits. We use them everyday! They have to buy their snack each day with their money.

  Each morning before snack time, I wrote an amount on the board. The students may use any coin combination to make that amount. They are excited to share what coins they used to make that amount. If I forget they always remind me. This will help so much with them learning to count money. It's nice for them to get so excited about learning. Hands on learning is so much fun!

• We Need iPads To Sworkit

  I can't thank you enough for donating to my project!! When I saw how excited they get when we opened our package it made my day. You have truly helped our kids out so much. They can use these Ipads for so many things. They are loving to take A.R. tests on them, explore and learn through the learning games, as well as practice spelling words, and so much more. The most exciting thing for them is to be able to get out of their seats and move around with some of the apps. Some of my above level readers love helping some of the other kids when needed. They feel like they are the teacher! I have seen their love for reading and math come alive!! Thanks again for believing in my project!”

• Reading and Learning With iPads Part 2

  I can't thank you enough for donating to my project! My kiddos were so pumped when they opened the box with the IPads!! One student said, "Oh my gosh this is awesome!"

  They can now play reading and math learning games on them. You made a huge impact on their learning. They are learning but having fun at the same time. All of them enjoy doing their math facts on them, instead of paper and pencil. Everyone of my kids have had the chance to play these games. It's awesome to see them so happy to learn! • We Need iPads To Sworkit

  Thank you so much for donating to our project! My kids were so excited!! The first thing one of the kids said when we opened them was "Can we use them today?" They love using them to stay active. They love the breaks where they can get up and move! We have had a lot of inside recesses due to the rain. These iPads are perfect for them! They just find the Sworkit app and get the chance to move around some. We use the IPads everyday for some type of activity. We cannot thank you enough for helping us with our project!”

• Moovin' and Groovin' in the Classroom Part 3!

  Thank you so much for our Hokki stools for our classroom. This flexible seating has made a huge difference in my classroom!! They are so excited each day to see whose turn it is to sit on them. I can tell a difference in their attention already. The stools allow them to move around and that helps with those kids that just can't sit still. All my kids enjoy these stools! I believe they are helping with their learning. I am so grateful for your donation to our project! The kids are very thankful also. Thanks for helping out our classroom!”

• Moovin' and Groovin' in the Classroom! Part 2

  My students were so excited when the boxes were delivered to my room this morning! They couldn't wait to open the boxes! One student said, "Oh my gosh they are so cool!"

  Another student said, "They are squishy!" Of course they wanted to sit on the stools right away!!

  The two that sat on the stools first were beaming. This flexible seating allows then to move while working. I'm amazed st how much better they were able to concentrate on their seat work! We are hoping to get two more stools so all students at their table can sit on them each day. We appreciate our donors so much for their donation. This was only possible because of your generosity and thoughtfulness!! Thanks again for everything!”

• Moovin' and Groovin' in the Classroom!

  We received our box of Hokki Stools on Wednesday late afternoon. The next morning the kids could not wait to open the box. You should have seen the smile on their faces when they saw what was in the box!! The first think they said was "Those are so cool!" Another student asked when they could use them. So we used them right away.

  Since I have a classroom of 24 students, I pick 2 students a day to sit on them. Every morning they ask whose turn is it. It is amazing to see how much it helps for them to be able to move some while working. My kids that are very active needed these chairs. It makes a big difference in their learning.

  I am so thankful to have these chairs in my classroom. I love seeing their smiles each day anticipating whose next to sit on one of them. Thanks again for your donation!”

• Reading and Learning With iPads

  As my students opened the box with the iPads, one said "Dude we got our new iPads!" The learning games are allowing us to study our vocabulary words each week, practice math facts, work on language skills, and study spelling words. One game is Kahoot which allows us to create teams in the classroom and compete against each other. This has been their favorite so far. All of the students have loved the opportunity to use these iPads. Everyday they ask if they can use them. Thanks for the opportunity for my students to get this wonderful experience!”
