The resources I have requested are all new music curriculum books. They are full of brand new approaches to teaching music and have lesson plan ideas I haven’t used yet. The studies about how music affects our overall well-being and impacts student learning are clear: music is important! Music makes us whole and healthy members of society. I hope to get my students singing, dancing, and playing with these new resources. The pandemic has created so much isolation, and I hope my classroom can be a place we can come together to make music and make connections.
