In our class, we work in small groups to maximize our learning. During our literacy block, one of our small group learning opportunities is utilizing technology. Currently, we have 3 iPads and students must share a device when researching or creating projects. This is not the best use of technology as the students are not always able to focus on their own ideas. Being able to have their own iPad will enable students to better connect with the content ensuring a more meaningful learning experience. Students will be able to access learning apps that reinforce their skills in literacy, math, and science. It will also be easier to keep track of student progress - something that is difficult to do when students share iPads.

About my class
