• An Inviting Environment for the Whole School

  My students were so excited to see everything and continue to love their space. The giant bean bag chair, in particular, is a hit! All of the supplies we received from this project have already been so loved and will continue to be loved for a long time!

• School Counseling Supplies for the Whole School!

  Thank you for your generous donation for school counseling supplies for Meadow Lakes Elementary School. Your donation has allowed me to create a wonderful space with many resources for students who need them. The school counseling office has become a place where students can take a needed moment, give themselves a reset, and learn valuable skills that help them focus on learning and attain academic success.

  The bean bag chairs, snacks, and board games in particular have become invaluable to my program. Students are learning how to cooperate with others, regulate their emotions, and set goals to plan for success.

• Keeping Our Hands Busy While Our Brains Work

  Thank you so much for donating to this project. The fidgets, sand tray, and Magnatiles have made a huge impact in our room. My students were so excited to see the new supplies and put them to good use!

  When students come into my room, they are often experience a rough moment in their day. Having sand, fidgets, or tiles to play with helps in a number of ways while they visit with me. Your donation has helped me create a space students want to be in, where they feel comfortable, and where they can work through whatever is bothering them so that they can get back in the classroom and focus on their schoolwork and learning.

• Happiness for Hamster

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to this project. The supplies for our pet hamster has been a tremendous help and already made a big impact. When students first see the beautiful space you helped create for our little buddy they feel happiness and excitement. It has helped make the school a place students want to be. They love visiting with him and being around him.

  Having supplies to care for him has also given my students an opportunity to learn about empathy and caring for others. Students get to pet him gently, feed him appropriate food, and give him time to rest and play. Through taking care of him they are learning selflessness and kindness.

• Sweet Seating for Student Success

  Thank you so much for donating to this project. Your generosity has helped make a big impact for my students. They are enjoying the bean bag chairs and lap desks in particular! The pillows and rug have made the space much more inviting and usable.

  When my students first see the bean bags there is always joy and excitement! Our students love working while sitting on the bean bags. It makes for such a fun experience, and we always learn more when we are having fun!

• A Safe Place to Feel, Cope and Share

  Thank you so much for donating to this project. I am so grateful that my students now have a place to be genuine and work on tough personal, academic, or social issues. The students were so excited to see the new resources! They come in and sit on the rug, hold the teddy bear for comfort when they need, or play with one of the fidget objects when they are nervous or anxious. These items have been used so much in the short time we've had them. Every day students love this little space that is just theirs to use when they need it. The space I have been able to create because of your donations has truly impacted the students here in a wonderful and warming way. Thank you, again, for donating to this project.”
