Having these headphones for each student will allow them to work independently, in stations, and with differentiated instruction. They will be able to utilize various educational technologies (MyOn, iReady, Google Classroom links, reading assessment, etc). The headphones are great for English Language Learners and special education students who need to hear different media, and students who are struggling readers who will be able to follow along with a read aloud. Research shows that when struggling readers are able to hear fluent readers, it helps them to improve their reading comprehension and fluency. Finally, the headphones will come in handy during state assessments.
