  • Wolves FC

    Funded Sep 3, 2023

Thank you so much for jump-starting our program. Since receiving the items you donated, we have painted a practice field on our campus, we competed in the Fall season for the Pueblo Rangers, and we have had a great experience building community.

Students, parents, and fellow teachers volunteered time and resources to show up on a Saturday to measure and paint the practice field. We teamed up with our school's drone program and identified the best portion of grass to place our field.

By way of generous contributions such as yours, our students were able to have an experienced of real team building and participation towards a common goal. thank you.”

Brazilian Cultures. 6th Grade students at the Pueblo Academy of arts have a variety of enrichment classes they can sign up for, Brazilian cultures is one of them. Over the last year working at PAA I have seen students highly motivated to learn about different cultures. Here is the description of the class that students were able to access before choosing their enrichment. "Explore Brazil! In this class we will be learning Brazilian history, from the pre-colonial indigenous world through the years of conquest, and into the modern day cultural mosaic that is Brazil. This is history for the senses, be ready to listen to brazilian music, eat brazilian snacks, watch brazilian movies, practice capoeira, and of course all things futebol! See you down south!" We are looking forward to making and eating brigadeiros, guarana, po de queijo, suco de maracuja, bolo de cenoura and much, much more.
