Funded May 15, 2024I am beyond grateful for your incredible generosity in providing funding for headphones for my 12:1:1 self-contained class.
With the headphones you have provided, each student will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in their learning experience. This will not only enhance their ability to engage with educational material but also create a more inclusive and focused classroom environment.
Your kindness and dedication to supporting the education of these students are truly commendable. Thank you for making a tangible difference in their lives and for helping to ensure that each child has the resources they need to succeed.”

Funded Sep 3, 2022I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your support in providing a colored printer for our self-contained classroom. The impact has been truly remarkable, enhancing student engagement in multiple ways.
Here are some specific examples of how the colored printer has positively influenced our learning environment:
-The ability to print out colorful visual aids such as charts, and diagrams has significantly improved the understanding and engagement of our students.
-The colored printer has enabled us to engage students in creative projects involving colorful posters, presentations, and artwork. This hands-on approach allows students to express their creativity.
Overall, the use of a colored printer has transformed our classroom into a more visually engaging, interactive, and personalized learning environment. This has resulted in higher levels of student engagement and academic success.
Thank you once again for your support and dedication to our students' education”

Funded Feb 8, 2022Thank you again for your generosity! Our project "Healthy Snacks for Little Learners" was fully funded quickly and snacks were in the hands of little learners in a matter of days. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade were happy to choose from the selection of salty, soft, crunchy and sweet treats.
Notably, our picky eaters and special needs students were happy to have a selection to choose from. These snacks created more of an impact than I ever expected, especially for one student in my self contained class. A student who was working on developing his expressive language skills, now requests snacks in a complete sentence!
You've made an impact on our school community with your donation!”

Funded Feb 5, 2022First and foremost I want to thank you again for your generosity and making this possible for myself and my students. This dry erase table has made instruction in math, ELA and all other content areas more enjoyable and accessible for students in my classroom.
Students eagerly grab their dry erase markers and books when it is time to work at the u-table. On those days when the printers are out of paper and ink, I am able to create graphic organizers, draw models in math or just draw a silly picture with my kids.
Again thank you for investing in my classroom, your contribution will reach students in my classroom for many years to come!”

Mrs. Gervais
Postage to Get Summer Books to our Kids!
Funded Jul 9, 2020We faced an unprecedented amount of barriers and hurdles over the course of the school year due to the global pandemic (COVID 19). Our students showed just how resilient we all could be, they learned in the new ways. Students found a way to turn the corner of their living room into their classroom. They were able to meet the expectations set forth in their virtual classrooms and families did their best as partners in their students learning.
The donations I received allowed me to pay for the postage for student's materials to be shipped to their door. May student and their parents were so happy to receive the material and I am grateful for your help!”

Help Us Fight Summer Learning Loss!
Funded Apr 21, 2020Concerns about students losing learning during summer break go back at least a century, with early evidence suggesting that the lack of academic engagement summer contributed to large disparities in students' outcomes. There has been in a rise in summer programming aimed and combating "summer slide".
With the move to remote learning due to the increase in the incidences of COVID 19 there was little to no educational programming over the summer months. After receiving these materials students and their families were able to bridge their learning from first to second grade.
Thank you again for your generosity!”
