As a part of our school's PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports) plan, I am creating a PAW School Store as an incentive for positive behavior! The store will be accessible monthly and will *hopefully* offer a variety of resources that range in price. However, since our school gives out PAW Points to acknowledge appropriate behavior, students will be able to use these points to buy items rather than spending actual money. This allows all students the opportunity to shop at the store. Additionally, students will be encouraged to earn more points (i.e. portray more positive behaviors) so that they may buy more/certain items from the PAW Store! In order to implement this project, I the store need to be stocked with a variety of resources. These resources include items ranging from everyday school supplies (pencils, markers, erasers, etc.), to fun fidgets that are appealing to all ages (bouncy balls, yo-yo's, slinky's, etc.). It is my hope that through this project, students will improve their social behavior and decrease disruptive, inappropriate behavior so that they can earn more PAW Points and return to the PAW Store each month!
