Flipped learning is the future of education, and the future of special education. Flipped learning, which consists of working through concepts and problems in class and doing learning online, provides students more time in class to do hands-on learning and independence in their online learning. Access to laptops will give students the one-on-one attention and differentiation — which all students with disabilities need and deserve. One Chromebook at a time, our students will gain the opportunity to be a part of a classroom environment and a culture that fosters, cares, and nurtures them. My students in my self-contained class should not be deprived of an excellent education simply because of economic constraints and inequity. Thank you in advance for helping end educational inequity in special ed classrooms!
