• Aerial Shots: Stingray Good News

• A Fun Seat A Day Keeps the Learning At Bay

  The students have been enjoying the seats. Each seat provides a different opportunity. For example the foldable seats are used in a variety of ways. When ever they have their drop everting and read time they are using the seats. The seats are also used to be able to come closer to the board during small group instead of sitting on the floor. They are excited to take turns and use each seat. Recess is another place where the seats are being enjoyed since they are light, and portable. Your donations made all of this possible.

• Glow Away for the Summer

  We are enjoying every opportunity to use our new seats. We are in a rotation shift in order to get turns to have a fun. Without these seats we would not be able to sit on the carpet and closer to the board to see.These seats have also provided movement in a structured environment while we are busy working .Your donations make a difference and allow students and teachers options to help keep us stay engaged. • Virtual Lessons On-the-Go

  Your donations have reached very far with my students. The students have been able to enjoy lessons virtually throughout these difficult months. With the I-Pad I have been able to engage students by having the ability to meet with individual groups during our virtual meetings. This is essential because it has given me small group time that is very difficult to do with only one device. The students love to be able to still work in small groups and have the teacher join them in separate rooms virtually. I also use the Ipad simultaneously with my laptop and I'm able to teach digital lessons for the student to interactively learn. We also have been able to join virtual games to practice our vocabulary and spelling and the students love to join to me on the Ipad. I give them the code and they join me virtually. Lastly we have been able to enjoy a virtual book club thanks to donors like you. We have read, listened, learned and laughed through these difficult times by enjoying each other's company online. Thank you for all your support my students' and I very grateful.”

• Drop Everything and Read: D.E.a.R in Our Class

  We are so grateful for your support. With your help we will encourage reading and help to foster life long readers! Our read aloud time will be so much more exciting with our own novel is our hands. We will D.E.A.R. and enjoy learning with our informational books, while still enjoying one of our favorite authors: Roald Dahl.”

• Flexible & Fun Seating For A Funplex Environment

  When the school year began word had spread about the flexible seats. The students were excited to come to class and have their flexible seats. They have learned to rotate and take turns using them. They tell their peers about our seats and invite them to visit. We synergize and take turns putting the seats back and forth in their designated areas. Taking care of the seats is also a major part of their day. These seats have made the classroom environment very exciting and inviting for the students.”

• Promoting Healthy Energy Expenditure Via Flexible Seating Options

  Funded Oct 24, 2018

  The funding of the flexible seating has made a tremendous impact in our classroom. My students have been able to maintain high energy while still remaining focused. The students have had the ability to move around while still paying attention. They have loved each individual seat, and have a daily rotation amongst their tables.

  They have been sharing the seats and taking part in keeping them in great condition. This was an impact that I was not anticipating. The seats have brought them together as a team. Seeing them care for each seat is very rewarding and has made me extremely happy.

  Besides allowing them to move around during independent lessons and work the students really enjoy the comfort of each individual seat. They are happy and excited to have a turn during class on the different seats and enjoy every time they have the opportunity. Thank you so much for funding this project. The satisfaction I receive while observing the students is indescribable and I'm truly thankful!”
