These materials will provide my students with variety of opportunities such as looking up research, extending the content that is being taught, teaching children independence (through technology), and providing an UDL model (Universal Design of Learning that will may help children who learn differently than their peers). The computers will also increase literacy and math score through the use of intervention programs such as Raz Kids, Starfall, PBIS Kids, Pop Math, and Bookworm. Students will not only gain literacy and math skills but they will become college and career ready early on. With that being said, computers promote higher order thinking and they allow students to partake in a new form of communication. They will also provide students with more concrete learning because there is so many channels that one can maneuver.
