This year, my goal is to give my students the opportunity to explore outside of two dimensional art. There are so many different types of art that I want to give my students the opportunity to try their hands on as many as I can possibly offer. I have the knowledge and skills to help them achieve their full artistic potential. All that's missing are the materials. For my supplies, I am asking for donations for supplies that allows us to create three dimensional art. I added printmaking kits so that my students can try their hand at creating their own designs and actually have it being made into a shirt that they can be proud of. I also added wires and clay for sculptures so that we can create pieces of artwork that is not just made out of found objects due to our limited supplies.
We have a small amount of art supplies so the types of art that we can explore are limited.
My students have not been given the opportunity to try many different types of art, which limits their knowledge of art to mainly drawing and painting. I want to give them the opportunity to build with their hands and create art that they can be proud of.
