• When You're Comfy, You Care!

  I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your donations and your belief in what I am trying to grow and instill in the students in my classroom.

  Our school has a program called Accelerated Reader. This program requires students to independently read books and take quizzes based on the stories they've read. They earn points as they pass their quizzes and the students in my room are very anxious to reach their goals!

  Crushing these goals requires time to independently read and that is currently the most popular part of our day. Thanks to your generosity and your donations, my students LOVE to sprawl out on the floor on the cushions, comfy chairs, floor pads, and portable seats you were able to provide us with.

  The opportunity to be comfortable while they read has really grown a love for independent reading in my students and that truly makes my teacher heart so happy.

• Book Boxes Hold So Much More Than Just Our Books!

  Thank you so much for your generosity in supporting my project for book boxes. Independent reading is a crucial component of our school day and giving my students access to hundreds of books is what helps instill their love for reading.

  With your support, my students are now able to select up to 10 books to carry in their individual reading boxes and carry them to a spot in the room where they can get comfortable and dive into books about their favorite characters and events. The excitement these boxes brought my students was definitely contagious and they loved being able to choose from the brightly colored boxes that were purchased for them.
