My goal as a teacher is to do what’s best for kids, always. Most students need movement to prevent them from becoming distracted or worse, disruptive. Flexible seating allows students to bounce, wobble, lean, twist, kick, fidget, stand, kneel and sit to best suit their needs. Research continuously shows that students can learn better in an environment where they are most comfortable. When students are able to choose a seat that is best for them, they are more focused, engaged and capable of attaining higher grades and understanding of the curriculum being taught. The products that I have selected will help my students by providing them with multiple seating options to best meet their needs. In the past, I have always had cheap stools at my small group table. It never failed. Time and time again they would break because the students would lean and twist in them. These wobble chairs will allow my students the movement they need in order to stay engaged and safe while at my table. The stability balls and bouncy bands will give students more choices in location and position as they find a seat that works best. These products will help increase the attention span of my students and therefore, help them to be more successful in the classroom. Your support would mean so much to me and even more to my students!
