Facial expression is an important tool that makes the teaching-learning process more effective and interesting. Being able to read my students' facial expressions allows me to assess their level of understanding as well as make social and emotional connections. Having access to a Dell computer monitor would afford me the opportunity to clearly read my students’ facial expressions. I would be able to do this while simultaneously presenting learning materials. Students learn best when they feel connected to their teacher. I may not be able to offer them hugs and high fives right now, but I can offer them my heart.
