I am a computer and robotics teacher at a STEM based elementary school. In my classroom we focus on a lot of uses of technology that many students in our school wouldn't get exposure to otherwise such as computer science and computer programming, digital art, generative design, transmedia storytelling, robotics and 3-D printing. I believe that even our youngest students are capable of unlocking innovative and creative problem solving techniques when studying these topics. My students excel in all subject areas, but begin to grow a truly special love and appreciation for science and mathematics related subjects that will carry them through their advanced educational endeavors.
