Every child deserves to have a proper art education, no matter race, gender, or social status. The Hispanic culture that surrounds the community in which I teach is one in full-bloom, but the students need a proper art education that will continue to embrace their traditions. I am in a high-needs community. I have taught at this institution for the past 15 years now, and I teach gifted and talented project-based lessons to approximately 100 students a week, Kindergarten through 5th grade. My students need consistency and support on a daily basis. I am grateful for donors like you all that support a holistic, hands-on education, for my students and for all children.

About my class
