  • Books for the book vending machine

    Funded Apr 10, 2025

Thank you so much for supporting this book project. Our students are very excited about the new book vending machine and we will now be able to keep it stocked for a while. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. I can’t wait to share your kindness with all of my students.”

  • Mathematics Classroom

    Funded Aug 15, 2021

Thank you so much for your generosity. My students were excited to explore the classroom this year and see all the new things we have to help strengthen our math skills. I am grateful for all the support I have been given this year to make my classroom more engaging to students.

I love seeing and hearing their excitement as they walk in my room and request certain activities. My students already have a different attitude towards math when they are with me learning in different engaging ways.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Myers

  • Hundreds Chart in a Different Way

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation. My students are excited about our new learning materials. When they first noticed all the different pop its they were full of questions, wanting to know how we are going to use these in class and when.

We are using them in many ways. Older students are building multiplication arrays to learn their multiplication facts. Younger students are using them to count to 100 and practice adding. They can use the rows of 10 to add on to similar to a tens frame.

They are truly engaged in these activities. Pop it fidgets are a hit with children right now.”

    Ms. Myers

  • At Home Math Kit

    Funded Dec 9, 2020

Thank you so much for your donation. My students were excited to start using all the new items. They couldn't believe people helped purchase all these things for them to use.

My students love using the blocks to build arrays for multiplication. They are learning how to use multiplication facts they know to get to one they don't know. These blocks help them see the correlation.

The students love the dice and that they are in different colors. We use these for them to create their own math problems. No worksheets given! They use a whiteboard and 2-4 dice depending what exactly we are working on.

Thank you for your contribution to our class!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Myers

  • Engaged Learning at Home

    Funded Oct 23, 2020

My students love having their own whiteboards, markers, and new erasers. They were so excited to open the boxes and see new erasers since many use their hand or shirt to erase the boards.

My students now have whiteboards at home and in the class thanks to your generous donations. This helps them a lot when we are virtual.

We use the whiteboards a lot during math to work out the equations and try different strategies. They also use their boards at home when working on sight words and spelling. We are getting a lot of use from this donation.”

  • Science and Social Studies for Kindergarten

    Funded Sep 22, 2017

This science and social studies project was exactly what my students needed to learn more about the subjects. The magazines teach my students about current events, holidays, and other interesting topics for kindergarten.

The subscriptions come with online tools as well. My students love technology and the interactive activities. It 5makes them involved in their learning.

I believe this subscription to Scholastic and Time has helped my students understand different topics that aren't in our subject books. Thank you for making our year a unique learning experience for these students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Myers

  • Learning One Day at a Time

    Funded Aug 24, 2017

Thank you for your generous donation. My classroom is enjoying all the wonderful learning tools we have.

Students use the stamps with play dough to practice spelling their sight words. They enjoy being able to learn and be engaged in learning new words. They get so excited to show me the stamped word so much more than just practicing handwriting or recognizing it in a book.

The alphabet mats are also a great hit during center time engaging students to make the letter with play dough, say the letter, and say the letter sound.

My students do not know how to read but they enjoy partner reading. During this time they look for sight words and read through pictures. The books are a great asset to my class.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Myers

My classroom is a place my students come to for additional assistance with math. My students range from kindergarten to fifth graders. It is my goal to create an environment all students can thrive in and feel comfortable in. My students all need extra help in math and meeting their grade level expectations. In order for me to offer my students the best learning environment I need to offer them multiple ways to learn. I would like to have a room full of resources for my wide age range of students. I believe students need multiple ways to learn and different strategies to attain their learning goals.
