  • Math Fluency Support

    Funded Dec 20, 2024

Thank you so much for your incredible generosity in providing our 5th-grade class with essential math materials and healthy snacks. Your contributions have made a tremendous difference in our learning experience and overall well-being. With the math tools you supplied, we've been able to engage in hands-on activities, solve challenging problems, and build confidence in our skills. Whether it's using manipulatives to understand fractions or graphing tools to visualize equations, these resources have brought our lessons to life in ways that traditional methods just couldn't match.

The healthy snacks you provided have also been a game-changer for our classroom. They help us stay energized and focused throughout the day, especially during those long stretches of learning. We've noticed that having nutritious options available keeps our minds sharp and ready to tackle even the hardest math problems. Beyond academics, it's taught us the importance of making healthy choices and taking care of our bodies so we can thrive both inside and outside of school.

Your kindness and support remind us that there are people who truly care about our success and believe in our potential. Knowing that you've invested in our education inspires us to work harder and dream bigger. Thank you for being part of our journey and for giving us the tools we need to succeed. We're excited to keep learning and growing, thanks to you!”

    With gratitude,

  • Food Fuel for Scholars

    Funded Nov 13, 2023

The donations to my class has impacted student achievement largely. The students have been more motivated with these healthy, nutritious treats. The students love to earn these treats as rewards for their hard work or improved efforts. The students also will be given these treats to help them when they did not have breakfast or lunch. Sometimes the students do not have access to healthy foods at home or they do not like the school lunch. These treats give me a way to provide for my students when they are in need.

The students love when they are surprised with these treats when teachers notice their hard work. It then motivates other students to work hard to also receive treats.”

  • Healthy Snacks for Striving Students!

    Funded Dec 13, 2022

The impact that this has on my students has been amazing. The students are able to experience a variety of healthy snacks. I have students who come in and haven't had breakfast and this is a way to give them healthy options to nutrition and energy. I can't thank you enough. This allows me to help students who are in need. This also provides the students with motivation to be rewarded with these snacks. They have really worked hard to get rewarded with snacks during the day. The students are so excited when they see the snacks come out.”

  • Love of Books!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you so much for giving us so many new books to have in our classroom. We now have enough books where we don't have to share during our lessons. That makes such a difference because it helps our scholar avoid arguments and conflicts with their classmates when sharing. Thank you so much for giving us books on things that we are interested in. The students love animals, mystery, and they LOVE comics. They couldn't wait to read the comic collection. They really are so lucky to have such great donors out there. It will add more readers to the class for sure!”

  • Teachers Pay Teachers

    Funded Sep 12, 2020

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to have a gift card to teachers pay teachers. This site provided me with access to COVID-19 precautions to take in the classroom. I was able to purchase and print the slides. From there I was able to laminate and have for many years to come. Also, I was able to purchase posters for the writing process. That is really helpful for the students to see what step they are one and where they need to finish! I also was able to purchase PowerPoints for social studies units that I never taught before and for ELA curriculum to help with engagement and visualization.”

  • Personal Supply Kits

    Funded Sep 11, 2020

Thank you so much for all of the resources. It is so important now more than ever to have organization and individualized supply or book containers. Because the students can't touch or share supplies, it helps to know their things can be organized. It also helps to know that they will not cross contaminate with supplies or books. They are also colorful, which brings life to the class during these crazy times. It is also important to have supply boxes so that we can clean things quickly. The kids will love the colors and not fear losing or not knowing where their things are.”

  • Books, Books and More Books!

    Funded Feb 3, 2020

Thank you so much for your donation of books. These books are used during instruction for teachers to pre read and pull out important words. Also the books are used to preview the topic and do a gallery walk of books and ideas. Thank you! The kids love the interaction with the information and the illustrations help them see the information related. The kids use the books constantly for their work and reference for evidence. The evidence in these books help them understand different perspectives of what occurred in the American revolution.”

  • Soft and Sweet

    Funded Oct 2, 2019

Thank you so much for providing the students with different seating for when they read. We used them today in stations and it was magical to see that they were engaged in their book and sitting however they felt comfortable. Some used the beanbag chairs, while others used the cushions to read and write.

I am so thankful that this project was able to be funded. The kids are always asking to sit in the only chair we had and now that we have more, it is nice that they can sit there during independent reading or if they need a cool down moment they can sit comfortably and think about their feelings and or actions.

The students really loved the various tools to sit with because it allows them to be comfortable while reading their book of choosing. I think that that is important because when I think of reading I think of reading a book that i am interested in, in a cozy corner. I could not have done this without your support and I thank you for being so generous.”

  • Privacy Please!

    Funded Jan 12, 2019

Thank you so much for the privacy folders. They gave helped the class so much in various ways. The students have become more independent and will get up and get the folders when they feel they need to work in the privacy of their own thoughts. They also love using them when it is independent writing time. They also use them when they are testing so that their eyes remain on their own paper and they can produce the best authentic work for themselves. They love knowing that they have these in the classroom and throughout the day I will hear many students ask "Can I get a privacy folder?" I love that they are acknowledging that they need that quiet think time to work independently before sharing it with a classmate or myself. Thank you so much!”

These students have the power to learn and I want to make sure that I give that to them. Every material for learning should be available to students especially to meet the needs of their various learning styles. It is important that kids have spaces in the classroom to escape and explore. These students are from low income homes, but they have smiles on their faces and a ready attitude.
