Classroom Organizer
Funded Sep 25, 2024It is with tremendous gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to my donors for your kindness and generosity to give towards my Classroom Organizer project. This project helps me giving my students a well-organized classroom and engaging tools to utilize during lessons. Having more organized storage for materials will help us when setting up center time activities and also when we are looking for a quick activity on the spot.
Thank you for getting this project funded and transforming our classroom organization!”

Funded Jul 13, 2023With your help, we have created a sensory room - sensory wall for our special education students. Our self-contained exceptional education classroom as well as my self have been able to use this room for our students with emotional regulation. We have seen them come into the room at a level 5, and leave on a level zero through play and sensory input. For example, I had a student that was extremely escalated during one of my small groups. I had used all my strategies and they just were not working. I decided to take him into the room and within 5 minutes he was calm, regulated and willing to articulate his feelings before going back to class. He thoroughly enjoyed using the floor tiles to play "the floor is lava". At the end of his time he went to class calmly.
Thank you for all your supports. Our hope is to continue to improve the efficacy of the sensory room to allow even our regular education students with emotional regulation deficits/sensory needs a a safe place to calm down.”

Funded Nov 28, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations towards our color printer and accessories. There are so many ways that the printer has been used in the classroom. We got it all plugged in and ready to print and they were just dying to print in color! So, I printed some of the supplemental items for our stations and got them laminated and we started using them at once!
The impact that this printer has on our classroom is immense! I now am able to print awesome teacher made items that I have purchased to help enrich and intervene the learning that is going on in my classroom. I have also be able to send student work, letters, and notes home in color. The convenience of having the printer in our room alone is amazing! I no longer have to wait until a break or before and after school to print something I might need in a moments notice.
We cannot thank you enough! You have made such an impact on my teaching, my students, and their learning ! Thanks you so much!"”

Sensory Learning Materials in the Special Education Classroom
Funded Oct 5, 2021Thank you so much for your gift. I kids had a great time opening all the boxes. They could hardly contain themselves.
It's a sensory experience. Students are encouraged to explore different textures. They learn to self-soothe using these manipulatives. They start to learn new words and how to ask for more of whatever they are using. I really would like to offer these students more varied experiences in which they are able to learn, explore, and work independently.
I think they will enjoy all of the sensory items a lot. Thank you again for your gift.”

Fun With Distance Learning
Funded Aug 12, 2020Words cannot express how grateful I am to each and everyone of you. Without each of you this project would not have come to fruition. I appreciate your generosity and my students are extremely grateful for the new sensory materials. Due to language deficits that many of my students face, it is often difficult to truly know how they are feeling, what they need, etc. But, when we received this package full of brand new items, you could see the excitement on their faces. They have all particularly enjoyed the lego board. We have been using it during our STEAM building time. For the students who are sensory seeking, the sensory balls has been helping them calm down and abel to stay in task for a period of time.
Again, thank you for your generosity, it has not gone unnoticed.”

Kindergarten Literacy Center
Funded Oct 25, 2019Thank you for helping us building our literacy center. After I introduce the center activities to the students, WOW, what a difference! I cannot begin to describe the effect that the magnetic letters, vowel sorts, and the vowel tubs have had on my students and their learning. In the past my students have had a hard time determining vowels from consonants. Having the consonants blue and the vowels red has made vowel patterns visible for students. We use the magnetic letters every day to build our spelling words. My first graders has also been able to read and write vowel patterns because of these amazing magnetic letters. The letters make long vowel patterns and vowel teams visible for easy identification which has translated into reading and writing.
Thank you so much for your generous contribution.”

Let's Count 1, 2, 3!
Funded May 1, 2019Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. The math center activity set has made a huge impact on our classroom. You donated Math Equivalency Puzzles, Count to 120! Magnetic Number Chart, and Snap & Slide Number Bonds. These tools have motivated my students to learn a variety of things. We have been using some of the activities during our morning meeting - Math Talk. Students in my classroom develop their thinking and expressive language skills through out the game. They also build up their self-confident through sharing. These games have built new friendships in my classroom because my students are collaborating on a daily basis. Thank you so much for providing us with the opportunity to problem solve, team build, and love learning!"”

Literacy Center in Kindergarten
Funded Feb 14, 2019It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give, toward to Literacy Center in Kindergarten! My students were so excited to see what was in the boxes and squealed with delight while I opened each box and explained what they would be used for. With the center activities that were donated we have been able to broaden our horizons through literature, and hold discussions on how each activity could help us to build a strong literacy foundation.
Thank you so much for your interest and support of these new materials that will better my students' education. I truly appreciate your generosity.”

Ms. Hong
