I believe all of my students to be the best in the world. They love to use their imagination and creativity by making art! They're urban, inner city kids and represent primarily Hispanic and African-American families/communities. My school resides in a high poverty area and the local schools are places where students can shine and display their beautiful gifts. Each year I go through an an enormous amount of art supplies and need to replenish them annually to continue the great efforts of the students. My students are on a journey this year to discover the World Cup through art. I am passionate to open the window for my students to see the world through art but need the supplies to continue. Please consider "Replenishing the Art Room" for me to be able to continue the journeys of my wonderful students.
