Reading Is The Word In Ms. Sweeney’s Third!

Thank you so much for your generous donation of our beautiful new bookshelf and new books! My 3rd graders gasped with joy on the first week of school to learn that they were the first ones to have brand new books to read and enjoy along with a bookshelf to display them on. My students have been reading non-stop, and they excitedly "book shop" 1-2 times a week and I always see them making a dash for the new shelf with all the new books. It truly makes me so happy to see my students enjoy reading so much, and it is because of you that they can continue to flourish as readers. My students and I are so appreciative and every time I witness them happily reading at their desks or sprawled out on the rug, or I see them excitedly choosing a book to bring home with them, I smile and feel a warmth inside that is hard to describe in words. All I can say, is thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!”
