These bookcases will help enhance our literacy environment by providing storage for our leveled book baskets in our classroom library area. Students will be able to browse through the different genres of literature by reading levels and topics of interest. I'm hoping that creating an inviting reading environment will invite my reluctant readers to develop a joy and love for reading. I hope this will help them discover that reading also can be for pure enjoyment. Through doing fun reading lessons in our inviting reading area maybe my students will embrace reading and not feel threatened that it's a dreading chore.
