My students are so eager to learn how to foster growth in learning by solving problems through sensory, cognitive skills. The STEM projects provide student the opportunity to collaborate and have the ability to place themselves in real life scenarios through science, math, and technology. The students will use the STEM design kits to deescalate and self regulate their emotions through activities built around measurement, force, motion, and gravity. As students grow into the world of technology, engineering, science, and math their lives are in need for more stimulation to navigate them into advance learning. Each of these STEM kits come with instructions to guide student to student led instruction along with teacher to student led instruction. My students will learn how to plan, build, and find solutions to solve problems with each activity. I am so happy to know that they will continue to explore other techniques early on in life to manage their social emotional learning by having a foundation of support through STEM. I also can continue to present STEM in my classroom to steer to them toward future careers in STEM.
