Technology to Provide Efficient and Effective Instruction to Diverse Learners
Funded Jan 5, 2021The technology helped my students through remote and hybrid learning tremendously. Students were able to better understand Geometric concepts due to the many features, such as the high quality audio and video along with flexibility to become a tablet with a stylus to help me quickly give my students meaningful feedback on their work. The laptop has allowed me to quickly model examples of diagrams, which many of my students with disabilities benefit from, by simply sharing my screen; giving students the ability to watch me write directly on the document. Having this touchscreen laptop made remote teaching more practical for my special education students by seeing me writing instead of typing. Typing out math work, especially symbols, is very difficult and time consuming. It is also very difficult for students with limited access to a computer and with disabilities to learn how where to find mathematical symbols in google docs, slides, etc. Overall, it provided a more efficient mathematical experience for my students and we appreciate your generosity. Thank you!”

Funded Jan 25, 2018I would like to sincerely thank everyone that donated to our second campaign. Thanks to you, the team was able to get pom poms for every single member of the team! These pom poms have been used for cheering at sports events all year around and the players of the sports teams love the support.
The girls love the pom poms and get so excited every single time we take them out. One of the most important aspects of cheerleading is team work and being able to look like a team makes them feel like a team and truly work hard together.
Thank you again for your donations and support. It means a lot to my students and I. You are positively effecting my students lives, and we truly appreciate it.”

Funded Dec 12, 2017I would like to sincerely thank everyone that donated to our campaign. Thanks to you, the team was able to get pom poms! These pom poms will be used when cheering at sports events, pep rallies, talent shows, showcases and hopefully during cheerleading competitions! We are still a brand new team and any help means a lot to us!
Each piece of equipment makes my students feel more like a team , and makes them push themselves to excel even more. Being able to witness the joy on my students faces when they received their pom poms was truly heartwarming. The first time the girls used the pom poms to cheer at a basketball game their moves were tighter, their voices were louder, and their smiles were even brighter. One of the most important aspects of cheerleading is team work and being able to look like a team makes them feel like a team. Our next goal is to hopefully get actual cheerleading uniforms for them. I can only imagine how happy that would make my students.
My students have been working very hard since October and have improved tremendously. I am so proud of them and all they have already accomplished. My students continue to amaze me everyday and I can't wait to see how great they will be in the future. Thank you all so much very your donations and support. It means a lot to my students and I. You are positively effecting my students lives, and we truly appreciate it. Thank you!”
