    The little ROANOKE town within the museum allowed children to drive cars, shop at Kroger's, take care of patients, run a TV camera, dress up as a superhero while performing on a stage, and so much more!

    Thank you for helping us to be able to enjoy 5 trips to an experience like no other in our area. Kids Square provides the perfect opportunity to mesh active play and a hands-on learning experience. From shopping in our "Kid-sized" supermarket, to working in a hospital, managing a veterinary center, and so much more... we could not ask for a more perfect way to pretend and imagine. These moments will become part of beautiful memories in our Preschool year. Your kindness has made this a reality for my little friends.”

  • Project "Star Light"

    I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your contribution to "Project Starlight". My children have truly taken ownership of their responsibilities of making Starlight packages for homeless children. Each child has hand-stamped and filled a bag that will bring smiles to children who need a bright spot in their lives.

    Our school has also noticed our project, and several grades and even parents have added additional gifts of kindness to our Starlight bags.   • *Helping Our Youngest... Reach for the Stars*

    Our class was able to enjoy our first of six field trips to our new children's museum, "Kids Square". Your contribution has given a "hands-on" experience, like no other. My children were able to take on fun roles of playing doctors, news reporters, veterinarians, scientists, grocery shoppers and so much more!

    We did not begin to cover all the opportunities found in this "early childhood" setting. Our inaugural experience has proven to be magic for my children. On the bus ride back to school, the children were already excited about what they were going to do..."next time". It is because of each of you, their wishes will come true.”

Kids Square provides an experience like no other! This inner-city museum was designed to skillfully provide “hands-on” activities that stimulate and educate a four-year olds mind. Kids Square provides a “Kids Town” with businesses like Krogers (with a working register), a town Bank (with a working drive-thru), a tv station (with a working television camera), or any of 7 other businesses providing true to life experiences tailored to the heart of a 4-year old. Additionally, children may visit a theatre, a hair-salon, a black light room, a car garage, a jungle with many large motor stations, a building room, and more.
